POP A CORK
What do Washington and France have in common? Both are located on the same latitude, which may explain why the Wine Spectator and other connoisseurs consider Washington wines among the best. Visit a Winery

The oldest winery in the Pacific Northwest is Chateau Ste. Michelle, founded in 1934. Today it is also the largest winery in the Pacific Northwest and has received more top awards for its outstanding Cabernets, Merlots, Chardonnays and late harvest wines than any other winery in the region.

The Columbia Winery is Washington’s first premium winery. It was founded in 1962 by 10 friends who first experimented by making wines in the garage of Dr. Lloyd Woodburne, Columbia’s first winemaker. Today Columbia Winery has a reputation for producing award-winning Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and distinctive Chardonnay as well as exceptional Riesling.
